Graduate School of Environmental Studies of Dharma Drum College (DDC or the College) invites applications for starting and mid-career full-time and/or visiting (minimum one year term) faculty positions beginning Fall semester, 2012 or earlier.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree from a reputable institution or a distinguished career in energy- or ecology-related environmental issues, or humanity and social sciences oriented environmental planning and management. Those with interest and ability to interact with teaching and research programs in the College’s other three schools(Life and Values, Arts and Culture, and Philanthropy) are strongly preferred.
Applicants must have excellent teaching and research skills, be able to regularly publish and present quality works in internationally renowned journals or conferences, work harmoniously with faculty and staffs, and advise students in all the College’s programs. Faculty salary and benefits will commensurate with local scale and school by-laws, special considerations will be granted to faculty with exceptional qualifications and potential contributions to the College.
